Today I was in attendance at Parley Manor a lovely venue near Christchurch, the weather was really kind
to us today yes we had rain, but we got all the pictures we required. And we we retired after the Wedding Breakfast
the sun came out in the early evening to make the day complete.

16th September 2010

This evening I had the pleasure of officiating in Cookham, with
Mr Charlie Mayfield Chairman John Lewis Partnership, and guest speaker Ed Davey MP
Minister of Employment Relations, Consumer and Postal Affairs. With just under 300 invited guests.

5th September 2010

A social day and evening out with my wife at one of our really favourite venues Stoke Park, We were delighted
to have been given the suite which was in the film Bridget Jones's Diary. A really stunning room with balcony over
looking the Golf Course. The bathroom is huge and is very grand with its Italian marble. Dinner in the fine dining
restaurant is truly amazing, the chef, Chris Wheeler, produced some amazing food. The staff at this venue are truly
professional, the standard of service is amazing. You should really look at this venue, call and make an appointment
mention my name when viewing you will not be disappointed

4th September 2010

A recent hotel in the last 12 months is The Hilton in Drake Way, Reading. This venue was chosen by
The Lady Taverners to hold their Diamond Gala Ball. We had a lovely evening and help raise over
£30.000 for the charity. The hotel will shortly be looking into holding weddings so a possible place
to look at in the future.

1st September 2010

Apologies to all those who follow my blog , I have been hard at work hence unable to keep things up to date
on this page.
19th June I was officiating at a local venue in Burgetts Green the Berkshire Agricultural College, a little known venue
but well worth a look standard of food and service were of a high standard. and a delightful venue. Hope to be returning
to this venue again soon.
9th July saw me back at another local venue Eashampstead Park Bracknell always a good venue
they have completed the front entrance refurbishment very tastefully, and are re painting some of the internal rooms. During the weeks
I have been meeting up with several Brides to discuss the arrangements for there Weddings.
24th July I attending a lovely venue in Windsor called Saxons Barn, always a delight to work with Debbie and
her team who do a great job in front of house, service and quality of food.
31st July a drive to Stoke Poges to the venue of Stoke Place, this is on of the many venues where I am listed as the preferred toastmaster.
A military Wedding this one so all shoes had to look highly polished, for those of you who have seen me in uniform you are aware of the high
standard I turn out .
10th August I was out with Lauren Mitchel one of the photographers I recommend having a up to date photo shoot for my website and PR.
14th August a drive to Welwyn to Brocket Hall first time at this wonderful venue. we all had a great time. This venue can cater for all types
of weddings large and small and well worth a look on the internet.
16th July a meeting with a few local wedding suppliers from the Hurst & Twyford area, to discuss setting up a local group and networking
with each other. I am in the process of launching a new site called www.weddingsuppliersberkshire.com so keep an eye out for it in the future.

6th June 2010

It's been a while since my last blog I have recently moved house, and I expect you are all aware of the
time it takes to get settled. But settled we are in our Victorian Cottage built in 1900 in Hurst Berkshire
. I
officiated at Easthampstead Park last Saturday,
always a pleasure to work at this venue. The staff always
on top form, and the chef's standard
and quality of food always a high level. Lauren and Kevin the Bride
and Groom of the day had a fantastic time, and all the guests spoke very highly of service they received.

March 2010

Today I have been attending Stoke Park Open Day, Stoke Poges, what a wonderful venue this is. The
staff are very friendly and the attention to detail is exceptional which you would expect from a Professional
Wedding Venue. Nothing is to much trouble with plenty of staff on hand to deal with any questions from the
potential clients . Two Bridal Suites were open to be viewed with plenty of viewing's, and with the sun
coming out full advantage was taken on the balconies looking over the lovely views across the golf course
and beyond. Michelle the Wedding Co-ordinator was kept busy talking to many clients, and on several occasions
during the day had people waiting patiently to see her. This is certainly a venue I would recommend you view but
please email or phone Michelle beforehand to arrange a suitable time.

1st February 2010

What a delight today to attend the Wedding Fair at Saxons Barn Windsor, you will get a warm welcome
from Debbie and her team they make you feel so relaxed.. Not only the suppliers but those Bride & Grooms
that visit are greeted with a cup of tea or coffee and some of Debbie's homemade cakes and goodies.

This is a venue that is not all that well known, but its well worth a visit to see the oak beams inside. It also
has seven bedrooms , dining and lounge are so its your real home from home. Speak to Debbie when
you call and mention my name, I might get another cake when i visit again.

15th February 2010

1st February 2010

Update on the recent Wedding Fair at Easthampstead Park on Sunday 31st January 2010, around 130
brides attended during the day and my apologies if I missed talking to you. Always a pleasure to attend this
venue, and many thanks to the team in organising a wonderful day. Not only for the brides, but also for the

exhibitors. The weather was a little cold as the doors first opened, but that soon disappeared with the warm
and enthusiasm the brides brought with them.

3rd January 2010

Attended the first Wedding Fair of the year today, a very frosty start and cold. But had the opportunity
to talk to many new brides and hear about the plans they are making. Also met up with some with some
old friends in the wedding industry, and met some new ones. On talking to the venue and the end of the
day, they seemed pleased with the way the day went.

11th December 2009

Today I received an invitation to attend a venue to discuss in detail a working relationship, nothing new
about that you might ask. Well under normal circumstances that would be the case, but wait a minute
where's the venue ?. ITALY yes that right I have been asked to go to Italy to discuss my role as a
Professional Toastmaster. The venue holds many weddings for American, Irish, British, and Italian
Bride & Grooms.
I will keep you posted as to how the meeting goes in due course.

This website can be viewed on the Italian internet under www.toastmaster.it .

17th November 2009

Tonight I went to Cantley House Hotel in Wokingham, and met up with Sandra the Wedding Co-ordinator
to discuss the forthcoming Wedding Fair in January 2010. A very interesting meeting and some new ideas
being suggested by Sandra to make this fair different from last year. What will be the difference well that is
easy, come along on the day and find out for yourself. No excuse for you Grooms we would like to see you
on the day also. So make a note of the date Sunday 3rd January at Cantley Park Hotel Wokingham.
